17-18 Britton Street by Orms

Known as the Stock House, 17-18 Britton Street is a 5-storey office development located in the Clerkenwell conservation area of Farringdon, London. Orms architects commissioned me to photograph the internal refurbishment they carried out on the building along with their replacement of the 1980’s façade.

The interior photography focused on the reception area, where an elegant, curved white balustrade connects the upper and lower levels. Teal walls and gold trimming add colour to the space. The office floor-plates feature exposed services, wooden floors and retain an element of their industrial past with exposed concrete soffits and columns. At the time of photographing the space these remained unfurnished as they are to be later designed to accommodate individual clients requirements.
