Shiva Hotels Middle Eight is a new luxury lifestyle hotel located in Covent Garden, London. Formerly known as Kingsway Hall Hotel the building underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2020 ready for it’s reopening in late 2021. The award-winning London-based design practice Tonik Associates were responsible for creating the Hotels new interiors, the vastness of the space allowing for a variety of responses to the interior design challenges.

I was commissioned to undertake the interior photography at the Middle Eight Hotel where everything from the dining spaces, bars, gym and luxury bedrooms were photographed. The images captured, emphasise not just the space and it’s architectural elements, but also the materials and furnishing choices utilised by Tonik Associates in their interior design work, which lend each space a unique yet cohesive ambience.
