The Mills Fabrica

Expanding from their first innovation led development known as The Mills in Hong Kong - a converted 1950s former textile mill - The Mills Fabrica opened their second development in 2021 at Cottam House, a repurposed Victorian warehouse located in King’s Cross, London.

The company provides innovators with 'a go-to solutions platform for accelerating techstyle and agrifood technology’ where sustainability and social impact are to be the key drivers of innovation. Under one roof The Mills Fabrica London provides co-working and event spaces alongside prototyping labs and a unique experimental and experiential retail store, which offers the public a curated selection of techstyle products and innovations.

The Mills Fabrica commissioned me to photograph the interior spaces of their London building, taking in the sustainably produced furniture and design elements along with the individual workspaces, adaptable event space and several exhibits within the Fabrica X store.

London-based architecture practice Barr Gazetas was behind the renovation of the original warehouse and worked in collaboration with design studio Untold Interiors.
