Documenting everything from the initial stages of construction through to the completed building, Alex works closely with his clients to provide exceptional quality images which are bespoke in their approach and understanding of each project. With a diverse range of industry based clients, ranging from architects, interior designers and contractors through to property marketing agents and building material suppliers Alex has a gained a refined knowledge of how to tailor and adapt his architectural photography to each clients individual requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Alex’s approach to architectural photography is informed and complemented by his background in studying both Fine Art (BA Fine Art First-class Honours, University of the Arts London) and design. This not only assures his consistent attention to detail and quality, but also enhances his understanding of form, space, composition and materials in relation to architecture.

Having since left full time education Alex has been working as an architectural photographer for several years, all the time gaining knowledge and experience as the diversity of his client base increases. It is with an enthusiasm and passion for both photography and architecture that Alex continues to strive to hone his craft. Having followed this path Alex’s combined experience enables him to provide a service which not only conveys the physical elements of a building, but also the conceptual ones; how the space is intended to be utilised, how it projects movement and frames its users.

An Exceptional Service

Included in the service is everything from the initial documentation of the project through to the delivery of the high-resolution images, with post-production and image enhancements included. Alex is CSCS approved and possesses the appropriate documents which enable him to access construction sites in the United Kingdom.
